We should feel cheated. Why? Because Forbes Advisor put out a report ranking the cities with the worst drivers and we didn’t make the list? Clearly, they didn’t visit the Rio Grande Valley.

Everywhere you look these days, there are cons going on, people losing money from their bank accounts, savings, you name it.
As mentioned in this week’s story above the newspaper fold — Another fed indictment: Why people risk so much for so little? — white-collar crime in South Texas seems out of whack. Meaning, it appears too much pay-toplay is at play, pardon the pun.
As I mentioned last week, my best buddy, Roberto, was in hospice. I visited him Sunday, Feb. 11th when he was still conscious to a degree, still able to smile at something funny. By Monday, he was no longer conscious, on heavy doses of morphine, sucking oxygen to stay alive. By Tuesday, he was dead.
