Busy weekend – more than 2,600 illegal aliens arrested
Ed. note: Every week, on an almost daily basis, the U.S. Border Patrol’s RGV sector chief, Manuel Padilla, Jr., with 34 years of service, logs on to his Twitter account to release news of what his agents and those assigned to other local law enforcement agencies are doing with regard to safeguarding the border.
From some of Padilla’s latest tweets (edited for brevity) posted between Oct. 31 and Nov. 5:
• Soldiers of the 289th Quartermaster Company, 553rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, launch a convoy Nov. 5 from Sam Houston in support of U.S. Northern Command. Providing military support to the DHS and CBP (Customs and Border Protection) to secure the southern border of the United States.
