SAN JUAN – Juanita Guerra, 68, died Saturday, March 3, 2018, at her residence in San Juan.
Born in San Juan, she had lived there all of her life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Guerra; and her parents, Teodoro and Belia De La Rosa.
Juanita is survived by two sons, James Michael (Tara) Guerra of Georgetown, Texas, Timothy Guerra of San Juan; a daughter, Michelle (Daniel) Ramos of Austin; six grandchildren; two brothers, Rolando De La Rosa of Alamo, Roberto De La Rosa of Pharr; and a sister, Lupita McFarland of Taylor, Pennsylvania.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, March 6, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
