TUESDAY STATS, 10-20-2020 EDINBURG – Seven more deaths and 172 new positive cases related to COVID-19 were reported Monday by officials with the Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Department, Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez said Wednesday. The result is a total of 1,906 recorded deaths related to the outbreak of this disease and 34,515 known positive cases.   “I offer condolences to the family and friends of those who have died and prayers to those who are ill,” Judge Cortez said. “We must continue to act with caution.”  Press release courtesy of Hidalgo County ...
