Augustus and Mimi: Cinderella’s Pets of the Week

Just over a year old, Mimi is a sweet, loving and beautiful cat. She’s got a symmetrically striped tabby coat in black and tan, highlighted by a big white bib that makes her look pretty fancy. She’s medium-sized, weighing in at 8.7 pounds, and has an interesting handled-bell image in white on her nose. She also has entrancing gold-green eyes.

Think cats are not affectionate? Think again. Mimi’s active and playful, but this feminine feline also loves to cuddle. She would make a great companion for a person who spends a lot of time at home. When Mimi is yours, there will always be a furry someone around to share your day.

Augustus (Gus) is one great big, brindle pooch, with a dusting of white around his muzzle, neck and chest. He’s a Labrador Retriever crossed with some larger breed and he weighs in at a solid 80 pounds. Gus is four years old, but he doesn’t let that slow him down. He’s very athletic and loves to run around and play. He’s also quite polite and ready to pleas.

Gus will come to you when called, skid to a stop in front of you, and wait patiently for treats or pets. He doesn’t like other male dogs very much, but he gets along great with female dogs and would be happy to join a household with one or or two already present. Since Gus is such a large dog, the ideal home for him would include a large, securely fenced, backyard with lots of room for a big boy like him to frolic to his heart’s content.

Mimi is spayed and Gus is neutered and both are upto date on their shots.
