Cinderella Pet Rescue: Cats are where it’s at
This week, Cinderella Pet Rescue is featuring two very cool cats, one male and one female. Both have been at our shelter for some time and they are anxious to find happily-ever-after homes very soon.
Reno is a handsome boy with soft gray and white fur and big gold eyes. He was born in January 2021, and weighs in at about 10 pounds. He’s a very affectionate cat who loves attention and he would enjoy having a brother or sister cat for company in a cozy home, along with a loving human or family. He’ll want to be close to you and keep track of all the happenings going on in his new world. He loves to play with toys and his antics while doing so will keep you smiling. So, if you’re a cat lover who has room in your home and heart for a very special cat — perhaps as a companion to a lonely cat at your house, Reno could be just the fellow for you!
Pretty Blake is an especially attractive tabby cat with symmetrical black stripes atop a salt and pepper background. She sports extra-large olive green eyes, a cinnamon colored nose, and her sweet face has cream-colored accents around her eyes and muzzle. She’s three years old and a good, medium sized kitty.
She’s used to living communally with other cats so would probably welcome a “brother” or “sister” cat to keep her company, however she’d could also be a great companion to a cat-loving person who wants to shower here with all the trappings of the good life: plenty of attention, treats, toys, and someone to cuddle up with.
Another endearing quality is her special relationship with water. She will drink from a faucet or from a bowl on the floor, but with the latter, she will lie in a position where she can protect the contents of the bowl from others who might want to steal “her” water, putting one front leg and paw along the top of the bowl. Be sure to check out our website for pictures of her indulging her fascination with water– it’s really quite unusual for a cat.
