Cinderella Pet Rescue: Treat yourself this Halloween
While the rest of the people in The Valley are running around at fall festivals or going door-todoor in search of the biggest sugar-high of their lives, you can be safely at home with your the treat you’ve given yourself–a brand new dog or cat that’s guaranteed to fill your life with sweetness for many years to come.
What makes Cinderella’s pets special is that most of them were rescued from situations where they were being mis-treated or neglected. Many have never had a home of their own with people who love them and show them the good side of humanity.
This Halloween week, we are offering two very special pets for your consideration and we’re hoping that someone equally special will call us to say they would like to adopt one of them and make Halloween really fun this year.
Just imagine getting to know your new dog or cat, who’s still getting used to her surroundings and checking everything out. Think of how thrilling it will be when your new friend comes running to you for reassurance or when she chooses to sit next to you on the couch or even in your lap. If you choose a cat, she will be purring. If you choose a dog, her tail will be wagging away because she knows that she’s finally HOME.
Consider Funny Face. She’s a beautiful classic calico cat born in April this year. One side of her face is masked in black, while the other is mostly light peach with darker orange stripes. Her body is a potpourri of those colors, with white paws thrown in for good measure. She’s got oversized ears, which means she’ll probably be a good-sized cat when the rest of her catches up with her ears. She also has a little pink nose and big greenish-gold eyes, which are always on the lookout for that special person that may be her new mom or dad.
This pretty girl is a small cat and still has a bit of growing before she reaches her adult size. She will never take up much room–except in your heart where she will stake her claim in no time at all! She’s curious, loving and playful and will be one Halloween treat you will never forget.
Dashley is a pretty young female Husky born in May of 2022. She’s tall and lean and rather wolfish, with symmetrical markings, including a white tip on her bushy tail. She has one blue eye and one brown, fairly common in the husky breed.
She’s a fun-loving pooch. She’s active and friendly and loves to run and play. She especially enjoys splashing around in her doggie pool. She’s eager for human attention and will even strike up a “conversation” with her Husky vocabulary. She’d love to accompany you on your morning walk or jog. She’s a good size at 40 pounds–substantial but not daunting. She would love to be a forever best friend to an active person or family, and, as far as she’s concerned, the sooner, the better.
Funny Face and Dashley are both spayed and up-to-date on their shots.
So, if you’re tired of everyone else having all the fun on Halloween, why not give one of these two sweet girls a brand new life at your house. You’ll be very glad you did and so will they!
Have a safe and Happy Halloween. Make sure to keep your pets inside since they can become frightened by all the trick-or-treat activity going on. And be especially careful if you have a black cat since there are those who might take him/her from your yard.
