These sponsorships will enable the Food Bank RGV to provide an additional 50,000 meals for families in need this summer.

Pets of the week

Hello, my name is Armor! Do you have some time to spend with me? An adopter who has experience with jumpy dogs would be a big plus for me! I hope you're steady on your feet. I'm learning to keep my four paws on the floor. Although sometimes I just want to walk around and relax! So if you're looking for a party pal, come on over to the Trenton facility to adopt me!

The People's Court

In the debris trail of its recent decision to reverse a 50-year old marquee ruling on abortion “rights,” the highest court in the land issued another decision just days later on the increasingly blurred separation between church and state—in particular, public prayer. The former was met with cheers, jeers, protests, and, sadly, moral discord; the latter with very little reaction by comparison. Both decisions are tied inextricably to the 14th Amendment to our Constitution which guarantees American citizens certain “liberties,” such as freedom of religion, speech, and the press.
