McAllen’s Sunset Live concert series to make return with April event

McAllen’s Sunset Live outdoor music festival returns with a Tex-Mex Country R&B musical celebration on Saturday at the McAllen Convention Center Oval Park, 700 Convention Center Blvd. After a brief pause these past two years, the concert series, which features local musical groups, as well as other regional and national bands, which has been a staple in McAllen for the last eight years returns in its full capacity. Admission and parking to the concert is free and is open to the whole family, including pets.

Cute and lovable kittens galore

Featured this week are Bach and Olivia, one from each of the two litters that make up the big batch of kittens Cinderella has available right now, most of them male and of the tabby persuasion. Olivia is the only female in the group. She is smaller than the rest and will probably always be a petite black princess (who would love to find a home along with one of her striped brothers.)

Pets of the week

Hello, my name is Malory! While I’m full-grown, I’m still a puppy at heart and am very playful with people and with other dogs. I am very energetic and could run for hours! However, once I’ve exerted all my energy, I’m as sweet as can be and would make a great snuggle buddy. If you’re looking for a new companion to run, exercise, or then relax with at the end of the day, look no further because I’m the pup you’ve been looking for! Stop by to see me today!
