Are you looking for a lap dog, or two?

Sometimes one lap dog just isn’t enough. If there are one or more empty laps and only one little dog, someone’s lap may feel empty and neglected.

Cinderella Pet Rescue can remedy this situation for your household. This week we are offering an adorable mother and daughter dog duo for adoption–Lider and Laura.

Lider, the mother, has been described as a “bold little princess,” since she doesn’t hesitate to ask for attention.

She’s an energetic and happy dog who gets along great with other dogs. She’s house-trained, walks well on a leash and enjoys the adventure of riding in a car.

She was born in October 2023 and weighs about 15 pounds — the perfect size for a lap dog!

She’s a Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier cross–a cute combination of two great breeds.

Laura is one of the two pups remaining from Lider’s litter. In addition to Dachshund and Jack Russell Terrier, her father brought Chihuahua to the mix. She was born in May 2025 and weighs about 10 pounds.

She’s been described as “stocky but soft and feminine” and loves to cuddle up and snuggle with her favorite humans. She has an endearing habit of prancing across the floor when she’s excited that wins everyone’s heart.

Like her mom, she gets along well with other dogs and is crate and house trained. (Laura’s sister Nora is also available for adoption, so be sure to check out her pictures too!)

We would love it if we are able to help you solve the dilemma of not enough “lap-warmers” to go around by offering both Lider and Laura (or Nora) for adoption. These diminutive doggies are real sweethearts and will be wonderful companions for some lucky family.

If only one of them catches your eye, they may be adopted separately.

All three dogs are spayed and up-to-date on their shots. All they need now is a happily- ever-after home and you could be the lucky one to provide it!
