Cinderella Pet Rescue: A Valentine to Last a Lifetime!
Cinderella Pet Rescue never recommends giving someone else a pet as a gift, because it’s best for people to pick their own pets, since it’s a lifetime commitment. However, there is nothing wrong with picking out a new pet for yourself as a Valentine’s present — both for you and the lucky pet of your choosing! We have a lot of dogs and cats to choose from and below are two great dogs who would love to be YOUR special Valentine.
Odin is a big, friendly and gentle Staffordshire Terrier/Pointer cross who weighs in at an impressive 85 pounds! He’s a good-looking dog who’s mostly cinnamon with some white. He’s seven years old but he thinks he’s younger than that.
Odin is well behaved and tries very hard to please. He will sit and wait patiently to be petted and then roll over eagerly to get his belly rubbed. He loves running around in a big yard or going on long walks with a human companion. He also enjoys car rides and cooling off in his doggie pool. He’s easy to bathe and just as easy to love. Odin is a survivor of distemper and has a twitch and slightly concave temples as a result. Unlike most survivors of this illness, he is NOT underweight. He is a fine specimen of a mature, substantial dog. He would love to become your faithful friend and companion and learn the pleasures of having a real home with people who love him for the great dog he is.
Our other featured dog this week is Xu. He’s a Red Heeler, one of the two subcategories of Australian Cattle Dog, born on May 23, 2021. He’s white with floppy cinnamon-colored ears, intelligent brown eyes, a big happy smile, and lots of cinnamon spots all over. He also has a very long tail, which he wags every chance he gets.
Xu’s a medium-sized dog who weighs around 33 pounds. He loves action and he will welcome any sort of adventure you can share with him. He enjoys going on long walks and likes to romp and play with his canine buddies. He would love to be someone’s best friend and we guarantee that he’ll bring a smile to your face and a new spring to your step if you welcome him into your home and your heart.
