It took many, many years for me to understand that life is about eternity, not about time. And the essence of Christianity is eternal life in heaven. Those who reject Christianity are those who do not understand, nor accept, the idea of eternal life. Life on earth is so real to these unbelievers, so immediate, so visual and touchable that it becomes nearly impossible for them to imagine or consider anything spiritual. Total disrespect for the power of death.
