Music or Magic? Cinderella’s Symphony and Shazam
Special to the Advance
This week’s featured pets are a dog named Symphony and a cat named Shazam, who are both ready for loving forever homes.
Symphony is a cute female Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog cross, born in 2020. She was adopted by a couple who moved away and left her behind. (Just a reminder that Cinderella will take back any dog or cat adopted from our shelter if, for any reason, the adoption does not work out.)
She’s a medium-sized dog, weighing 36 pounds, who’s friendly and eager to please. She enjoys going for long walks with an agreeable human, loves to run and play with other dogs, and she rides well in a car. She has a caramel-colored coat, with cream highlights and big, beautiful brown eyes.
This sweetheart has had an unfortunate past, due to no fault of her own, and we’re hoping that one of our readers will be able to provide her with the forever home she deserves — where she will make beautiful music with her new person or family.
If you need some magic in your life try saying “Shazam,” a word purported to produce magical results. Our Shazam is a pretty boy who’s two and a half years old. He’s a sturdy, good-sized cat, who weighs about 12 pounds. He’s got a nice, thick tabby and white coat, a pink nose, and striking light green eyes. Favorite hobbies include playing with his toys and being held by his favorite humans. He has an endearing trick that will surely win your heart. He will lie on his back and knead the air while you pet his belly. He gets along with friendly cats and dogs, having grown up among both.
Shazam is active, attentive, and interested in everything going on around him. He’s a real charmer. If you’re looking for an affectionate cat who will be a great companion, Shazam could bring just the right sort of magic to your life!
Symphony is spayed and Shazam is neutered and both are up-to-date on their shots, so, if you are interested in bringing either one of them into your life, home and heart, please fill out an online adoption application for them on our website, www.cinderella-pet-rescue. org, or call us for more information at 391-4399.
