In-person adoption events to take place at local PetSmart store

Animal shelters across the nation are full to overflowing, and scores of adoptable pets are waiting even longer to find loving homes.

Palm Valley Animal Society is proud to partner with PetSmart Charities to bring adoptable pets to PetSmart (7600 N 10th St Bldg 200, McAllen, TX 78504) in support of National Adoption Week, taking place March 22-24.

During the in-store event, Palm Valley Animal Society invites those with room in their hearts and homes to meet adoptable pets in the area. Opportunities will be given to spend time with animals in spacious areas to find just the right match. During these dates and times, all adoption fees will be waived.

“Shelters across the U.S. are struggling to keep pace with the number of animals coming in and need support from their communities to bring pets and people together,” said Heidi Marston, director of pet placement at PetSmart Charities. “We’re proud to support Palm Valley Animal Society and the essential work they do to care and advocate for the animals that come through their door in need of loving families.
