DHR Health slated to host free back-to-school bash
EDINBURG — DHR Health Clinics recently announced its Back-to-School Bash, a community event that will be dedicated to helping families prepare their children for a successful school year.
The event will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. on Aug. 10, in the parking lot of the DHR Health Medical Office Building, located at 1100 East Dove Avenue, McAllen.
The event is free and open to the public.
“Our Back-to-School Bash is our way of giving back to the community and supporting families as they prepare their children for the new school year,” said Veronica Villarreal, Chief Ambulatory Officer at DHR Health.
In addition to school supplies, the event will also provide entertainment and activities for the whole family. Attendees will enjoy live dance performances, moon bounces, community booths, games, snacks, and refreshments. To receive school supplies, children must be present at the event.
Door prizes will also be awarded throughout the festivity.
“Join us for a morning of excitement and preparation as we set the stage for a fantastic school year ahead,” added Villarreal.
