Edinburg police probe fatal scaffold incident

On Tuesday, just before 9:30 a.m. Edinburg police officers were called to the 1200 block of E. Canton Rd. in reference to two men who fell from a scaffold while working at a building undergoing renovation.
When officers arrived, they discovered a 45-year-old man dead at the scene and another 51-year-old man seriously injured.
The 51-year-old man was transported to a local area hospital.
OSHA has been notified of this incident.
As of press time, no additional information has been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
