Garza announces run for Hidalgo Co. Republican Party Chair
McALLEN — Lina Garza, a Latina business woman, Colombian American, with dual citizenship seeks to be the next Republican Party Chair. Garza is a McAllen resident along with her husband, an Army Ranger — Dr. Juan Garza and teenage daughter Sophia seeking to bring Conservative leadership and values into Hidalgo County politics.
Garza is an industrial engineer, member of the evaluation committee of IREX.org: Global development & education, Community Engagement Exchange Program, consultant, political activist and possesses a Masters of Business Administration, and has worked in the banking industry prior to establishing herself as a successful business owner for the last 15 years.
Garza also serves as Marketing Director for one of the largest coffee growers in Colombia her home country. She has witnessed firsthand how Republican policies have benefited businesses and seeks to share the conservative principles within the community in hopes to gain Republican support for local, state and congressional races.
Hidalgo County has experienced first hand what corruption and bad practices have done to our community. Now is the time to have a leader that will stand the fight for Faith, Freedom, and Prosperity. “The grassroots are an integral part of our Republican Party and I want to bring that leadership into our Hidalgo County Republican Party” said Lina Garza.
