McAllen to hold Special Election on Jan. 22

McALLEN – A Special City Election to be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 to elect one commissioner for Single Member District 4 to the Board of Commissioners of McAllen, Texas, to fill an unexpired term.

Former District 4 Commissioner Tania Ramirez stepped down to run for Hidalgo County Judge.

Candidates include:

• Rodolfo “Rudy” Castillo Early Voting by personal

Early Voting by personal appearance will be conducted for all McAllen District 4 voters at the Firemans Pump House, located at 201 North lst; Palm View Community Center, located at 3401 Jordan Avenue; and Lark Community Center, located at 2601 Lark Avenue. Early Voting begins Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022 through Tuesday, Jan.18, 2022.

Election day is Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022.
