Small business owners in Mission who want the chance to apply and learn about grants can do so this Tuesday.

The Mission Economic Development Corporation will host an information session at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the Center for Education and Economic Development, which is located at 801 N. Bryan Road.

Mission EDC recently relaunched their Ruby Red Ventures legacy program and is distributing $200,000 in small business grants. An applicant can earn up to $15,000.

“The Ruby Red Ventures - Build Mission Fund fosters entrepreneurship, supports economic growth and resiliency, and promotes innovation for small business in Mission,” according to Mission EDC’s website.

A notable requirement is the small business must be within Mission city limits.

For more information on the program, visit missionedc.com/rubyredgrant or call (956) 585-0040.

The deadline to apply is Nov. 30.
