As mentioned in this week’s story above the newspaper fold — Another fed indictment: Why people risk so much for so little? — white-collar crime in South Texas seems out of whack. Meaning, it appears too much pay-toplay is at play, pardon the pun.

We should feel cheated. Why? Because Forbes Advisor put out a report ranking the cities with the worst drivers and we didn’t make the list? Clearly, they didn’t visit the Rio Grande Valley.

UTRGV Athletics and the City of McAllen will officially open the new Vaqueros Golf Center at Champion Lakes Golf Course on Thursday at 3:30 p.m., celebrating the completion of the nearly $3 million facility, in a ceremony open to the public.
