Julián Álvarez, becomes Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development for Lone Star National Bank
Julián Álvarez, a longtime member of the Texas Workforce Commission who represented the interests of more than 14 million Texans, recently completed his leadership role with that state agency to become Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development for Lone Star National Bank, according to the board of directors for the community bank system.

Last week brought us more bad, sad news south of the border and only got worse at the start of this week. Since the start of Mexico’s official war against the drug cartels began in December 2006, more than 350,000 homicides have been reported, while the government reports the disappearance of more than 85,000 people.
