Mexican national sentenced for drug trafficking
Special to the Advance McALLEN — A 36-yearold Mexican man has been ordered to federal prison for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, announced U.S. Attorney Nicholas J. Ganjei.
Comptroller distributes $1.5B in monthly sales tax revenue
Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock announced he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.5 billion in local sales tax allocations for February, 2.5 percent more than in February 2025.
