LA JOYA — On Thursday, U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar, TX-28, announced $1,275,000 in federal funds for the construction of a new fire station in La Joya.

BROWNSVILLE — Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol (RGV) agents seize over 200 pounds of marijuana in Brownsville from three events. One of the seizures was the result of a tractor operator clearing brush.
City of McAllen property taxpayers take notice: the deadline to pay their 2021 property taxes is Monday, Jan. 31, 2022.
