SAN JUAN/ALAMO - Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD hosted groundbreaking ceremonies for playground improvements at Edith & Ethel Carman Elementary in San Juan and Santos Livas Elementary in Alamo on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019. According to officials, in an effort to provide the best recreational facilities for its students, PSJA ISD has invested in improving approximately 1-2 playgrounds each year. The improvements include: exercise stations, lighted walking trails, restroom facilities, canopies, basketball courts and playscape renovations, to name a few.
