EDINBURG – A Hidalgo County man will serve 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual abuse of a child. Nathaniel Garza, 27, was sentenced to 25 years in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, a first degree felony. Garza was arrested on January 23, 2019 by the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office. The victim was 13-years-old at the time of the assault.
