ALTON - On Monday , February 24, 2020 The Alton Police Department responded to Mission Hospital in reference to an injury to a child report. Upon arrival Alton Investigators were notified by medical staff that a 4 month old male infant was admitted to the hospital with head trauma. Through the course of the Investigation Alton Investigators learned that the infant was in the care and custody of his mother’s boyfriend Edgar Cruz Reyes Vallejo (28) at the time of injury.
