McALLEN – Ernesto Herrera, a current graduate student at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, will be sharing his expertise on keystone species (the native honeybee) at Quinta Mazatlán’s Nights at the Mansion Speaker Series. Join Herrera Thursday, March 5, at 6:00 pm as he presents, “RGV bees and their ‘bee-havior.”
Herrera is conducting one of the first studies on the native bee community in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. His research involves performing comparisons between bee communities in rural and urban sites.
