EDINBURG – Seven more people have tested positive for COVID-19 bringing the total number of known cases of the virus to 504, County Judge Richard F. Cortez said Monday. Fourteen people remain hospitalized with complications from the disease with three of those in intensive care units. No new people were released from isolation so there are a total of 211 active cases. A total of 9,511 tests have now been administered in the county — 714 of those have been public tests and 8,797 have been private laboratories/other conducting the tests.
