PHARR - Three PSJA ISD high school theatre troupes won a combined 12 awards on Sunday, May 24, during the 3rd Annual Palm Awards, which aims to celebrate the love of arts by recognizing the local high school theatre community across the Rio Grande Valley. There were 25 participating schools, 37 productions and thousands of Rio Grande Valley students that were judged and nominated in both musical and non-musical categories for their hard work both on stage and behind the curtains.
