WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced a $9,572,032 federal grant award for the City of McAllen transit system. Metro McAllen received more than $9 million in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds through the CARES Act. "We must provide the adequate protections for both our transportation workers and commuters during this pandemic," said Congressman Gonzalez.
