A former state representative – and three previous members of the Board of Directors of the now-dissolved Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (Edinburg EDC) – along with three other prominent area leaders on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, were unanimously appointed by the Edinburg City Council to lead the city government’s newly-created Edinburg Economic Development Department.
