When food is in short supply for those in need, it can’t be good news that one of Hidalgo County’s largest food-distribution centers is now reporting that three of its employees have recently tested positive for COVID-19. Not with approximately 95,000 meals being distributed per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) across all of its networks.
However, Food Bank RGV sent out a press release Tuesday, working to ensure the public that it has done what it can to implement strict safety precautions, and in an ironic sense, has been practicing safety protocols all along. No word yet, nor is any really expected,
