PHARR — U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations (OFO) at the Pharr International Bridge cargo facility arrested a 25-year-old man from Nuevo Leon, Mexico after discovering $540,500 worth alleged hard narcotics including methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl.
“Our officers at the cargo facility are not only processing legitimate cargo arriving into the United States but they are also maintaining an enforcement posture on these shipments, making this effort quite a balancing act,” said Port Director Carlos Rodriguez, Port of Hidalgo/Pharr/Anzalduas.
