PHARR - Cesar Chavez Elementary student and Leukemia Survivor Alexia Padron was featured on theLeukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2020-2021 National Hero Squad Campaign (formerly Pennies for Patients). Alexia was diagnosed in March 2011 with Acute MyeloidLeukemia and is now in remission. "We are incredibly proud of Alexia as she gives hope to many battling this disease.
