PHARR - Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (PSJA) ISD is providing free to low-cost mandatory vaccines, including the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to PSJA ISD students at mobile vaccination units at various district campuses thanks to a grant provided by the School-based Human Papillomavirus Vaccination Program together with the University of Texas Medical Branch.
These opportunities become available as the Texas Education Association (TEA) finalizes new standards next month pertaining to HPV education for all seventh and eighth-grade students, according to PSJA ISD Director of Health Services Sulema Solis.
