PHARR - The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announces lane closures on the Queen Isabella Memorial Causeway (PR 100) because of routine maintenance which includes cathodic protection (anti-corrosion), paint and structural review/repair starting next week. The TxDOT contractor, Southern Road & Bridge LLC, will be performing the maintenance work on the Queen Isabella Memorial Causeway which is part of continued preventive maintenance and remediation strategies to maintain the bridge’s extended service life.
