To the editor: From my conscience, my heart, and my Catholic faith, I thank Jesus Christ that change took place in Washington, D.C. I believe it is a positive improvement and a start to allow for unifying efforts among the American people. This time I voted for the Democrat candidates. At the top of the ticket, I had been voting for the Independent Party since 1983. I am extremely dissatisfied with both major political parties.
