EDINBURG – Precinct 3 Commissioner-Elect Everado “Ever” Villarreal will be sworn into office on Friday, Jan. 1 at 10 a.m. The swearing-in ceremony will be live streamed on the county’s Facebook page. Commissioner-Elect Villarreal will be sworn in by State Senator Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa and Pastor Juan de La Garza. Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, the swearing-in ceremony is closed to the public.
