ALAMO – Maria del Carmen Martinez, 68, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her son, Abdiel Martinez. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her husband, Andres Martinez; three children, Andres Alonzo (Maria) Martinez, Astrtid (Jose) Martinez, Alberto (Corina) Martinez; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Sanjuana Hererra and Modesta Herrera. Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday, January 29, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center, 208 E.
