EDINBURG – Justice of the Peace Jason Peña Precinct 5-Place 1 and Justice of the Peace Jaime Jerry Munoz Precinct 2-Place 2 are officiating free Valentine’s Day weddings on Friday, Feb. 12 and Sunday, Feb. 14, respectively. All weddings are by appointment only and witnesses are not required. Couples who plan to take advantage of the service will need a valid marriage license, which must be obtained at least 72 hours before the wedding.
