EDINBURG – On May 5, 2020, Hidalgo County Commissioners Court voted to require that all county employees and all visitors to county buildings wear facial coverings.
This requirement is tied to the ongoing declared public health emergency and shall continue in place until further notice as a safety measure to reduce the spread of COVID-19, in accordance with CDC guidelines, along with other measures such as social distancing, to ensure a safe environment for our employees and patrons.
