To the Editor: On March of 2020, I met with Felix Rodriguez, Hidalgo County’s Veterans Service Officer. My visit was a scheduled meeting to submit my veteran’s disability claim. After about an hour spent discussing the given issue, I left remarkably impressed with Felix’s effort to assist me in harvesting every detail. Therefore, I write this note of gratitude to a fellow veteran, who decades earlier was confronted with the ugly face of war in Vietnam, but now sits behind a desk to ensure that no veteran is left behind.
