EDINBURG — The Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library invites the public to celebrate National Poetry Month with local poet César L. de León. The author will promote his talent in verse -- including his contribution to the poetry anthology Dreaming: A Tribute to Selena Quintanilla-Perez -- at the library on Thursday, April 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. César is one of four poet-organizers for Poets Against Walls, a grass-roots collective of poets and educators dedicated to centering and elevating work by Borderland writers, artists, and activists affected by borders and divisions of all kinds.
