EDINBURG – Twenty-eight parents currently pursuing a GED through the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD Parental Engagement Program will be recognized and awarded Google Chromebooks by Region One Education Service Center on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at 11:00 am during a special ceremony for parents who have taken advantage of free continuing education classes. As part of the ceremony, Region One ESC will be acknowledging parents, providing lunch, certificates and surprising them with computers to help them overcome barriers with technology at home as they continue their education.
