EDINBURG – Hidalgo County is pleased to announce that 449th District Court Judge Renee Rodriguez-Betancourt has been appointed to serve on two boards: 1. Texas Judicial Commission on Mental Health; and 2. Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute. The Supreme Court of Texas and the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, appointed Judge Rodriguez-Betancourt on December 21, 2020 to serve on the Judicial Commission on Mental Health for a two year term expiring in 2022.
