PHARR – On Sunday, July 18, at 8:37 p.m., the Pharr Police Department was dispatched to a canal bank just north of 600 E. Las Milpas Rd. in Pharr, in reference to a single vehicle accident involving an All-Terrain Vehicle and two riders. Officers discovered that a 22-year-old male was driving the ATV with a 22 year-old female passenger seated behind him as they drove east bound on the canal bank, where the driver lost control of the ATV and fell into an adjacent canal bank approximately 15 to 20 feet deep.
