AUSTIN, TX — Texas's highly successful annual Sales Tax Holiday is scheduled this year from Friday, August 6th through midnight Sunday, August 8th and will offer Texans an opportunity to save millions in sales tax on clothing and various back-to-school items. The Texas Comptroller’s office estimates that shoppers will save an estimated $107.3 million in state and local sales tax during this sales tax holiday.
