PHARR – At about 5:00 p.m. this past Friday (Sept. 10), Pharr Police responded to a call for service at 1007 N Veterans (IBC Bank) in reference to a robbery. Preliminary investigation indicated that a Hispanic male wearing a black shirt and black pants along with black sunglasses, black cap, and a black face mask entered IBC bank and made gestures indicating he had a weapon while demanding money from the teller. Upon getting an undetermined amount of cash, the male exited and ran west from location. Pharr Police are asking for the community’s assistance for any information about this robbery.
