EDINBURG — October is American Archives Month, a time when archival repositories across the nation celebrate Archives Month by promoting the preservation of the country’s documentary heritage. To better preserve and maintain the historical treasures in the Margaret H. McAllen Memorial Archives (MHMMA), the archives will close for the month of October. Staff members will use this time to perform inventory, reorganize and rehouse collection materials, and process outstanding donations.
