EDINBURG — Maria Olga Alcala, 70, entered eternal rest Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.She is preceded in death by her daughter, Maria Guadalupe Zuniga; and her parents, Jose Pilar Gonzalez and Amelia Garza Tamez.Ms. Alcala is survived by her husband, Heriberto Briseno of Edinburg; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Maria Hortencia Gonzalez and Maria del Pilar Reyes, both of Edcouch.Visitation was at 9 a.m., followed by a 2 p.m. funeral service Friday, October 15, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 208 East Canton in Edinburg.
